Do you have direct billing
on your plan?

If your plan has direct billing, accessing care is easy. Just visit one of our network providers, show them your digital Member ID card and government-issued proof of identification and you’ll receive cashless treatment.

For more information, view our digital Member ID card guide.

You can also access your digital Member ID card on our International Mobile Assistant app.
When do you need
preauthorisation?

Certain treatments and services require our preauthorisation. Get in touch with us prior to receiving these treatments and services so we can let you know what’s covered by your plan:
  • Medical evacuations
  • Inpatient or daycare admissions
  • Psychiatric treatments
  • Prescriptions for more than three months’ supply of drugs for a chronic medical condition
  • Single treatments or services that cost more than 500 USD or the equivalent
